The latest quest creator, designed by BeCREO Technologies, is a solution which has been awaited by many teachers. Scottie Go! Dojo extends the experience of the Scottie Go! educational game series and introduces new educational possibilities. New functionalities cover, among others, creating and managing study or project groups, creating new difficulty levels and sharing them via QR codes with a whole group or selected users. Students' progress can be monitored via the Scottie Go! Platform. The Platform facilitates the process of evaluation, which optimizes the efficient use of teachers' time and allows them to adjust lessons’ difficulty level to students' actual skills and level of knowledge. Both the quests and students' progress can be saved in the cloud. Thanks to such a solution, users can access their updated profiles on any device.

Combining the Platform with the mobile app and the AR technology now allows for either scanning the print-at-home paper tiles, or the cardboard tiles, included in Scottie Go! for Education game boxes. Thanks to that our solutions can be used in both traditional school education and online education.

How does it work?
I. Application – Quest Creator

Dojo quest creator is an innovative AR application for learning programming which combines the real world with the virtual world. The main hero of the game is a remarkable little alien Scottie, the protagonist of the well-known and popular Scottie Go! educational game series. The app allows players to create new quests for the little alien and completing them by composing programs with the paper or cardboard coding tiles.

II Tiles

Players use the tiles to compose programs and scan them with the application. They are either available online for download and printing (click here to download the coding tiles), or included in Scottie Go! for Education game boxes

III Scottie Go! Platform

The Platform allows teachers and administrators to manage licenses and create user profiles for the Scottie Go! Dojo quest creator. The Platform can be found at: http://www.portal.scottiego.com.To use the Platform you have to register an account first.

The application is a safe educational tool, compliant with the new curriculum standards. It was designed for students aged 6 and up. The application can be used both in schools and in other educational institutions, during interactive IT, technological or other classes. Scottie Go! Dojo facilitates the development of computational thinking and other 21st century competencies.

To complete quests created with Scottie Go! Dojo, players need educational coding tiles. They can befound in Scottie Go! for education game boxes or downloaded from the Scottie Go! website and printed (the print-at home tiles have been designed specially for online education. The color of print does not matter in the scanning process). This solution is dedicated to those students and teachers who have been working or are planning to work with Scottie Go! for education.

Learning with Scottie Go! Dojo involves the use of a PC, a tablet or other mobile device.

New application, new possibilites
How to obtain free 14-day trial of Scottie Go! Dojo and Scottie Go! Platform:

1. Contact your BeCREO team account executive or write an email to our custommer support. You will receive the required trial license key within 48 hours.

2. Register your account on the  Scottie Go! Platform. Next, add your trial key and user profiles for students  (check the user manual)

3. Download and start the Scottie Go! Dojo application on your device. Tell your students to install the app on their devices as well.

4. Share students' login details with them via QR codes. You can email the codes, share them via electronic gradebooks or social media.

5. Print out the coding tiles. We have prepared the coding tiles in both regular and larger size for younger students. (* we recommend printing on cardstock or glueing the printouts to chipboard for strength. Printing the tiles in grayscale does not affect the scanning process). You can now start working with the application!
